*Bantay Hangin Program- Kontra Usok / Kontra TB
The Kontra Usok / Kontra TB campaign seminar, caravan and motorcade, is in support of the Clean Air Advocacy. This Bantay Hangin Program is in connection with the celebration of the Lung Protection Month August and Environment Month on November. The program is a citywide massive information and education drive to enhance awareness of Quezon City residents about the negative effects of air pollution and the actions we must take to resolve this problem.
*Kontra Diabetes with Free Blood Sugar Test
Bagong Henerasyon launched one of its Bantay Health Programs, the “Kontra Diabetes” project which aims to carry out a massive information and education drive to increase awareness of our barangay constituents regarding diabetes and its causes, risk factors, warning signs, and prevention tips. The project includes a 1-hour orientation seminar regarding Diabetes and a Free Blood Sugar Testing for the registered participants.
*Fumigation for Anti-Dengue Campaign
To decrease, and if possible wipe out, the source of Dengue Fever, Bagong Henerasyon implemented the Anti-Dengue Campaign thru Fumigation servicing of all greatly affected barangays in Quezon City. Through the courtesy of Rotary Club of Eastwood and Rotary International District 3780, which donated the fumigation materials, Bagong Henerasyon conducts Larvae Spraying and Trapping in different areas and continues coordination with various organization are being done to implement a clean up drive program as a preventive measure to fight dengue.
